Busy day today. I replacing the two coach batteries today. These are the batteries I use for 12V power when wwe have no power to plug in to. The old batteries have just had it. I think one was a 2017 and the other was a 2019. If I had to go on 12V they wouldn’t last long. I also serviced the generator as well. The motorhome is 20 years old, so I try to keep up with the maintenance.
As the weather is getting warmer I will be on the move again. We will be leaving the motorhome at my dad’s place and be back on the the motorcycles traveling. That’s the plan for now but, you know things are always changing. We finally sold the house in NY. That means at some point we will have to make a trip to upstate NY to seal the deal. I’m not sure by what means we will travel there until I know what the game plane is for the closing. I guess we will see.
What the people want doesn’t always matter. That’s been proven time and again in history. Although many people are against stricter laws, changes are coming.
Some of the stricter laws are the new gun laws the Government passes every year. These changes are not only about gun control, they’re about people control and the freedoms that are going to be lost with stricter control. When stricter gun laws are put into effect, what’s going to happen is what’s already happening.
Criminals are still going to be able to get their hands on guns and whatever ammunition they want to hurt law-abiding citizens. But in the meantime, the government will have restricted the freedom of the citizens when it comes to gun control so much that it’s going to be tough for them to be able to legally buy guns.
The stricter gun laws aim to keep guns out of the hands of criminals, suicidal people, mentally ill people, and people with questionable background checks. However, the laws being pushed will fail to protect law-abiding citizens because those who want to use guns to do violence will always find a way to get them.
Stricter laws against guns aren’t the only laws threatening your freedom. If you’re someone who tries to live a lifestyle where you can take care of your own needs, you could soon be facing some trouble from the government.
If you live in a tent, off your motorcycle, or an RV or you are living in a tiny home, you could soon be living illegally. The government isn’t happy with those who choose to live off the grid. It doesn’t matter that you’re self-reliant or that you’re not costing the government anything. Except for all the tax money they miss out on because you have made a decision not to be a tax slave.
The government wants to decide what you can and can’t call home. There are upcoming regulations they are working on right now that will refuse people to label tents, RVs, and tiny homes as homes. Florida just recently passed a law that has almost made it illegal to be homeless. Of course, these laws are passed to pacify the rich voters in places like Miami Beach or West Palm Beach. Not to mention, they are looking for slave labor and to fill cells in private prisons so the State doesn’t get financially penalized for having empty prison cells in these private prisons. True story, look it up.
It doesn’t matter if it’s on land you own. If you live in a tent, an RV, or a tiny home, the government is looking to fine you, arrest you for non-compliance if you refuse to abandon the shelter, or even seize the property.
What this means to you is, the government will make you leave your tent, RV, or your tiny home and move into a government-approved dwelling. Of course with cameras and surveillance all around you. It means that you’re going to have to join the rest of their monitored society, the sheep. If you don’t, they will arrest you, you’ll go to court, and be levied a heavy fine you cannot pay, then they will turn you into slave labor in a privately owned prison.
If you’re wondering why the government is so worked up about RVs and tiny homes, the answer is simple. It’s because the government is looking to decide how much freedom you truly have. Once the stricter laws and regulations pass, living free in a tent, tiny home or RV will be banned right out of existence as a home.
This was our second visit to the Badlands. I left the motorcycle in camp on this trip and rode with friends for their first trip into the Badlands National Park.
